Confirm core-to-frame fit, roll width and surface compatibility. Frame and handle selection should be stated with the order.
Roll width, core fit and handle arrangement can be customized for the cleaning task.
A reusable handheld frame accepts replaceable adhesive rolls, allowing the contact width to be matched to the item being cleaned. Fresh peel-off sections provide a renewed collecting surface without replacing the frame.
Match the refill to the frame
Check roll width, core fit and retention before ordering replacement stock. A loose roll can move sideways during use, while an overly tight fit can prevent free rotation. Keep a compatible refill at the workstation so operators can change a loaded surface promptly.
For a broad flat surface, a wider roll reduces the number of passes. For restricted access, a narrower roll gives better control around edges and fixtures.
Use the adhesive surface selectively
Roll with light, even pressure and expose a clean section when particle pickup declines. Test the adhesive on the actual material first, especially printed, coated, soft or textured surfaces where residue or lifting may matter.
Keep the cage and handle clean and inspect them for trapped debris. Store spare rolls enclosed with their protective covering in place. This contact-cleaning method targets loose contamination; oily films and bonded deposits may require a different cleaning process.
