Confirm the dimension order, bore, outside dimensions, covered length and core interfaces on an approved drawing. Material data depend on grade and conditioning.
Sponge dimensions, core arrangement and material grade can be customized for the process.
The extended PVC sponge roller provides a continuous absorbent surface over a longer span. It is suited to machine layouts where the contact line must cover a broad sheet or panel path.
Support the full working width
Long rollers need appropriate support and alignment to keep contact consistent from end to end. Check the core straightness, mounting locations and opposing roller relationship. A center-to-edge difference in liquid removal can result from mechanical deflection as well as material wear.
Allow clear access for removal without bending the roller or scraping the sponge against surrounding frames.
Specify the complete replacement
- Define the covered span and total end-to-end length separately.
- Confirm tube dimensions, end projection and mounting details.
- Identify the process liquid, operating temperature and cleaning cycle.
Inspect the sleeve across its whole length during servicing. Replace a damaged assembly before local defects become repeated marks or wet bands on the processed material.
Material data

These material-level values support grade comparison; they are not guaranteed finished-roller test results. Confirm the test method, conditioning and allowable operating conditions for the selected grade. Chemical compatibility must be assessed for the actual fluid, concentration and temperature.
