Confirm the dimension order, bore, outside dimensions, covered length and core interfaces on an approved drawing. Material data depend on grade and conditioning.
Sponge dimensions, core arrangement and material grade can be customized for the process.
The 15 x 31 x 10 mm PVC sponge ring offers a compact ring-shaped contact element. Its dimensions differ from the neighboring PVC size, so replacement should follow the assembly drawing rather than appearance.
A small dimensional difference can change the fit
Verify the shaft fit and the finished roller diameter before assembling a replacement set. Changes in ring width also affect the total stack length and side clearance. Record the approved bore, outer diameter and width explicitly on the purchase drawing.
Watch the contact pattern
After installation, assess whether the rings contact the passing material evenly. A dry band or repeated wet stripe can indicate alignment, compression or liquid-loading differences rather than insufficient sponge absorbency alone.
Clean or replace elements that have hardened deposits or visible damage. The PVC material information describes a grade family; it is not a blanket approval for every solvent or process bath. Qualify the selected element with the intended cleaning solution, temperature and service cycle.
Material data

These material-level values support grade comparison; they are not guaranteed finished-roller test results. Confirm the test method, conditioning and allowable operating conditions for the selected grade. Chemical compatibility must be assessed for the actual fluid, concentration and temperature.
