Confirm the dimension order, bore, outside dimensions, covered length and core interfaces on an approved drawing. Material data depend on grade and conditioning.
Sponge dimensions, core arrangement and material grade can be customized for the process.
The compact PO roller combines a smooth absorbent sleeve with a projecting black core. It provides a continuous contact face for a machine arrangement that controls pressure, rotation and liquid handling.
Define the roller interface clearly
Check the core dimensions and end projections against the mounting hardware. Confirm covered length separately from overall length so that the sponge reaches the intended work area without contacting the supports.
When replacing another material family, preserve the approved geometry while evaluating the new grade's behavior. Similar white sleeves can respond differently to compression and process liquids.
Assess contact during a representative run
Inspect the workpiece for uniform liquid removal and unwanted surface marks. Adjust the mechanical setup within the machine's approved limits before attributing a problem solely to the sponge.
Maintain clean core ends and an undamaged sleeve-to-core connection. Use a defined cleaning method and replacement criterion so that a contaminated or permanently deformed roller does not remain in the line.
Material data

These material-level values support grade comparison; they are not guaranteed finished-roller test results. Confirm the test method, conditioning and allowable operating conditions for the selected grade. Chemical compatibility must be assessed for the actual fluid, concentration and temperature.
